Featured Tutorial: Dee-Rocks Line Dance
It’s here! As promised, this week's tutorial features the "Dee-Rocks Line Dance" (to the song "Tambourine")! This is a fun intermediate-level dance that we had a blast with at Neon Night. I've broken down all the steps so you can practice and master it at home.

I want to shine a spotlight on a fantastic member of our crew, Lady Citrine!
Lady Citrine brings such a positive and supportive energy to every single class. Her dedication to mastering new steps and willingness to welcome new dancers truly embodies the spirit of our community. Thank you for being such a "Jewl"!
We asked Lady Citrine to share a few words about her experience, and here’s what she said:
As a child, I always loved music and dancing, but for years I held back—too shy and unsure to truly express myself. In 2018, I took a step of courage and joined a line dance class, and that one decision transformed my life. Through patience, practice, and what Dr. Sapphire calls “foot physics,” I found my rhythm and my voice. Early on, I was affectionately given the name Ballerina because I loved to turn and spin—sometimes in the wrong direction. But those turns became part of my journey, each one guiding me closer to confidence and clarity. Today, I can proudly say I have the name Lady Citrine—a jewel that symbolizes abundance, peace, and creativity. Line dancing has given me confidence, clarity, connection, and courage. I now dance freely, joyfully, and unapologetically as part of the Class of 2024—celebrating growth, sisterhood, and the beauty of becoming my true self.
